Bass Player Available

Bass player available. Influences from Paul Simon through Joy Division to Trivium by way of punk, pop, new-wave, electro, metal, funk and anything else you’d care to mention. I can bring my own bass, amp, moody scowl and set of cool indie t-shirts; you will provide the band, gigs, tons of adoring fans and inches of press in NME and airplay on XFM.

(I might have just been to see the White Rose Movement again and decided that I want to play gigs in crappy tiny sweaty venues around the country; incidentally, if the WRM don’t have a top-ten single before the end of the year, I will eat my shoe*)

    Trivium?

You just went up even higher in my estimation.

Trivium are awesome. I have a weakness for shouty noisy cheesy metal. And it’s the damned guitar album in *ages*. Those boys can really play.

Hi we’re a band called ICE, based in Rossendale and we need a bassist. We’re looking to change our sound from full on rock to a more folk-rock sound, with the emphasis still on the Rock side, samples of our old sound can be found
at http://www.brightice.com/band or http://www.myspace.com/theiceband We’re commited and serious about our music and will gig as much as possible. We want to record once our sound is settled and we’re
aiming to gig around the festivals and uni circuit.
