I agree with your comment re the Smullyan article ‘Is God a Taoist?’ – it is fascinating. Actually – if you haven’t already heard of it – you may want to get hold pf a book called ‘The Mind’s I: Fantasies and Reflections on Self and Soul’ – a collection of essays and articles put together by Douglas Hofstatder (of ‘Godel, Escher, Bach – an Eternal Golden Braid’ fame) – there are many more articles like the Smullyan one in this fantastic collection.
