There’s a Mancunian blogmeet happening. Hurrah indeed. It’s going to be in the Fab Cafe on 16th October at 8pm, and apparently identification is going to be via presence of cuddly toy (hopefully the choice of venue should mean that this won’t cause too much embarassment – and anyway, I think most of us have mooses/moosen/meese anyway, although mine’s a bit big and I might just bring a penguin or something instead). I’ll be the one looking slightly less cool than I do here. There’s more on Lori‘s blog, in the comments for the 25th, or on Lyle‘s today.

In addition, I’m off to see The Darkness with a couple of peoples, including Topper and Lori, on the 15th October. They moved the gig from the Academy 2 to the Apollo so there were (briefly) some extra tickets on sale. Must remember to ask my brother if he’s still got those leather trousers from his Spandex Dave phase…

I think I need to take a break from this monitor. My eyes are going funny.
