Valid

jez told me that a few things didn’t work any more now he’s upgraded to the latest version of Mozilla Phoenix Firebird Ultragerbil SpaceMonkey9001 Firefox.

To that end, I’ve just spent the last hour or so getting this page and the stylesheets to validate to CSS 2.0 and XHTML 1.0; it now does so, and therefore any rendering issues are a problem with your browser and not my code. Happy browsing 🙂

Actually it didn’t work on the old version of FireMonkey either! And it still doesn’t… stupid browser. Kick Kick!

Seems Mozilla has got a bit more strict about layer ordering recently. Higher layers obscure lower layers completely, it seems, even without a solid background. It should work now, anyway.

IE6 still can’t cope with the ‘all stuff Chris Whitworth’ on the red scheme – writes it all over ‘Aberlour 10 year old single malt’. The tart.

Ooh, so it does. That’s because I put that BBC thing in there, I’ll wager. I’ll fix it later.

You might want to check the blue and journal css styles too – the bio bit on blue is a bit broke and the themes at the top of the journal theme are on top of the not a blog image.
But the red theme seems to work fine for me now! Yay!

  6. Validiation is for loosers.

Loosers are people with more time than me.
